His Holiness attended the graduation ceremony for the first class of the Koinonia Institute for Biblical Studies

 

On Friday, June 25, His Holiness attended the graduation ceremony for the first class of the Koinonia Institute for Biblical Studies that is affiliated with the Churches of Hadayek Al-Kobba - Cairo, Egypt. The celebration took place at the Papal Residence in St. Mark’s Cathedral, Abbasiyya - Cairo, and was attended by H.G. Bishop Mikhail, the overseer of that service-district, and Fr. Mousa Nabil, the director of the institute.

 

 

Fr. Mousa presented to His Holiness the idea behind establishing the institute, its vision, and its mission.

 

 

While the institute was established in November 2019 to serve the youth of grade 6 and up, studying the Bible for the next five years, the current graduating class are the servants who will be teaching in the coming period.
