His Holiness consecrated the Church of St. Mary and St. Joseph the Carpenter in Ezbet El Nakhl

On Saturday, November 23, His Holiness consecrated the Church of St. Mary and St. Joseph the Carpenter in Ezbet El Nakhl, Cairo. The main altar was consecrated in the name of St. Mary & St. Joseph the Carpenter, the northern altar was in the name of St. Philopateer Mercurius, and the southern altar was in the name of St. Mary, St. Mina, and Pope Kyrillos VI, in addition to the icons and baptismal font, and a separate church in the name of St. Mary, St. Mark, and St. George. On this occasion, His Holiness elevated three priests to the rank of hegumen:
- Hegumen Fr. Raphael Edwar
- Hegumen Fr. Markos Gamil
- Hegumen Fr. Antonious Morgan
