Knowing Sherrie for 30 years I am not surprise that she wants to be a Judge....since she was a young girl I saw in her that strength , compassion, caring ,just and her love to everyone regardless of status or color. Coptic people being active participants in civil government is a longstanding tradition of our people over the course of our history. As individuals it is great to participate in civic life, and as a church, there is nothing wrong with its members supporting one of its own to help represent the standards of its populace and uphold the law. Again, over our history, many important government officials were the answer to the peoples prayers when our church needed relief from persecution.
