The Coptic mourns for their Muslim Brothers

At the time of the article was writing, the gunmen opened fire and detonated a bomb a mosque and the village of Al-Rawda in Al Areesh in Northern Sinai during Friday prayers. 235  people died, and 130 were injured in a bomb explosion.  Eyewitness reports that the gunmen dressed in the military uniforms drove 4X4 vehicles in the attack, and waved ISIS flag. 

In February 2017, more than 300 Coptic Christians flee in North Sinai because of the increased attacks and threated by ISIS-affiliated militants in the regions. ISIS released a video promising to genocide Christians. This is region occupied by ISIS, and Egyptian Army and Police are trying to control them. 

Egyptian military air force has destroyed two vehicles loading weapons in Sinai deserts, killing 15 militants, according to SkyNews Arabia.

The #Coptic Orthodox church and HH Pope Tawadros II condemn the terrorist attack on the mosque. The church prays that God has mercy on #Egypt and keep it safe from terrorism.
