A recently published  book by DR. Hani Ashamalla; deacon and servant in St. Mary and St. Antonios Coptic Orthodox Church, Queens, NY, USA. 

This book welcomes readers into the events of passion week, from Lazarus Saturday to the following Friday. 

The book offers reflections, meditations and prayers following each event, hour or day; allowing the worshiper to be more involved in the prayers and hymns of the Orthodox Church Passion Week. 

Every moment and every hour of passion week can be observed in this luminous poetry, and each moment breathes new life into this significant chapter of the life of our Savior. Passages from both the Old and New Testaments make passion week come alive for readers, allowing them to better understand Jesus and His contemporaries. 

The book also contains a chapter about the sufferings and death of our Lord from a medical perspective in addition to a detailed map describing the routes that Our Lord have taken from His arrest in Gethsemane till Golgotha. 
It also includes a series of symbolic and theatrical plays personifying the wounds of Christ and drawing from persons of the passion week like; Pilate's wife and Barabbas.
