Today the 14th of November, 2013, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II ordained 18 new priests in the St. Mark Cathedral in Cairo. This is another of a string of many ordinations the patriarch has conducted since the time of his enthronement. His Holiness has already ordained bishops on two separate occasions, with a third soon to come.

17 of the 18 priests that were ordained will serve in Egypt, and 1 in the United States.
